Web 2 Market typically provides custom training for new AbleCommerce site owners. Clients come to us with a wide range of experience and needs. Your training will be customized for your needs. However, to give you an overview of the most frequent training course, we've provided the syllabus below.

Target Audience

Training is typically provided to site owners and administrators. Up to 3 people per session.

Course Overview

The course provides an overview of the functions typically used in the day-to-day administration of the store. Usually there are several training sessions of 2-3 hours. Some clients may need up to 18 hours of training. Training is typically done remotely, over the phone. Training can be done in person, if desired.

Course Outline

  1. Managing Products - Adding/editing/deleting products, managing categories, options, kits, specials, discounts, product batch editing and template fields.
  2. Managing Orders - Searching, printing, payments, shipments, placing orders for customers, order notes and batch printing/editing.
  3. Users - Adding, searching, assigning to groups, group permissions, vendors, manufacturers and affiliates.
  4. Marketing - Coupons, volume discounts, featured products, search engine feeds and email marketing.
  5. Reporting
  6. Security - Password policies, data encryption, audit log and IP blocking.
  7. Shipping Configuration - Shipping methods, carrier integrations, AbleCommerce shipping methods, zones and warehouses.
  8. Payment Configuration - Credit cards, gift certificates and payment gateways.
  9. Taxes
